 Firstly thanks everyone for your continued interest and reading Previous Blogs , much appreciated . After my last Blog on the 10th Jan I have been on the Anti Biotics as Prescribed because the wound was infected on my neck and very sore , and I continued to use the New Cream which is amazing stuff , it took a few days to get on top of the Neck wounds with bathing them twice a day in clean warm water and changing the Neck collar twice a day , but it worked  really well to the extent that yesterday was my first day without a collar for many weeks but I did use Moisturiser  on my neck which felt lovely , the issue I had been fighting was the thick discharge in my throat which was making me get out of bed 3 or 4 times a night and vomiting and retching to clear it ,not a nice experience and this obviously ruined my sleep pattern , I had been given some medication by the Crisis team to take 4 times a day with the design to Thin the discharge , it did but took a couple of weeks...

Update  So todays visit to the Christie didnt start well , although I was up at 5-30 am ( I have to be ready 2 hours before my 9 am Appt ) and despite numerous phone calls saying 5 minutes , my Taxi  arrives at  8-50 am , to be at Christies at 9 am , doubtless I wasnt happy and made  that clear to the Driver in no uncertain terms , then we get stuck in all the Traffic , he starts to comment about delay ,I tell him well if you had been on time we wouldnt be in it would we !!! he never spoke again and neither did I .  Go straight to Dept 22 Acute Assessment Unit 45 minutes late and apologise  , where once again a very warm welcome , nothing to do with choccies and thank you card for Saturdays care I received .  Good afternoon every one , when I started the Blog I said it was a Warts and All  Blog , good and Bad..So hear is some bad stuff . Since Tuesday the 2 nd Jan my condition deteriorated quite a Lot  , Lots of Pain from Blistering on my neck and and feeling Nausea all the Time and lots of thick Phlegm sticking in my throat so I was wanting to be sick all the time , generally out of sorts no energy. As a Result on Friday afternoon I decided to Call the Christie Hot Line Number as given to me just in case !! Sadly no answer on some phones and Mail Box or Answer phone on others , not very Hot at all , so I contacted my McMillan contact Jaqueline explaining situation she asked me to leave it with her , 1 hour Later she said she also had No luck but had left some messages , I thanked her for her help .  So END OF WEEK 6 , Day 30 ,Treatment 30 !! THE END   Forgive me if I write rubbish tonight I am a bit  of an Emotional wreck. So today Bev Heath very kindly drove me to Christies for my last treatment , so no waiting or wondering if my Taxi would arrive or not . Bev arrived at mu house and after a quick chat we were away in awful weather conditions , but Bev is an excellent driver and drove to the conditions  and we arrived in Plenty of Time and found a parking spot on the street very close to Christies so just a short walk around the corner to Christies . So on arrival I am due to have Bloods taken again so round we go to Dept 1 to check in , no problem , then over to check in at Bloods and they tell me they have no papers for me and someone is bringing them down from the Office !! so Bev and I take a seat and ch...
