Week 4 13-12-23 Day18 Treatment 18

 Well hello again , thanks to all those who have read my Blog and Commented on it much appreciated .

Today was probably the easiest most straightforward  day since I  started Treatment , Transport on time again.

Arrived at Christies  headed straight to Dept 39 Suite 4 , only 2 Customers in front so it wasnt long before I was called in in to meet Ray again Lydia was in charge today whizz whizz , job done dressed and off go to book in at Transport the Sun is shining out side and literally 10 minutes minutes later my name is called out and I am on my way home

    Hi Tom, sounds like you had a smooth day. I thought I had commented on todays post, but nothing here when I checked!!. I think Tom starting next Money, I will start the countdown!, they usually start at 10 don’t they 🤔🙂. Always makes a difference when the sun is shining and there’s no matches!.
    I am sure none of us know fully what you have and are going through, but one thing for sure Tom is you have met this head on, and coming through full steam ahead, you’ll be ringing that bell for sure, chat again soon..🫶🎄

    12 days of treatment to go, I believe! No doubt this is throwing you sideways, but you are keeping going with humour, structure and observation of the small things. It's been an education watching how you handle this challenge, not the easiest at any age, let alone 77. You should feel almighty proud of your commitment and courage. No doubt everything the doc saw right at the very start. Treasure these smooth days and remember them when things get rough. Ups and downs. Onward to Thursday! X

    Hey Tom sorry for not commentating for a while had a couple of issues to deal with here . You have come such a long way and although you cannot talk any longer for a while you seem to be In Charge of how this scourge called cancer is affecting you . Well done mate and don’t let that guy called Ged Try and butter you up for Pork pies 🥧 (I have a mailing address 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂) . Seriously though I am happy to see that you are fit and well .

    Wow that was a quick one, it sounds like it all went like clockwork. How are you coping with the morphine patches Thomas, are they helping with your pain. are you eating well? I am a nosy so and so, but I care and need to know you are well. This is nearly week 4 over and done, just 2 more weeks to go! Then its recuperation and rest and a lot of bell ringing! ❤️❤️😊😍❤️🌞❤️Love you loads big man XXXXXX

    This is so good to read Tom. The occasional day where it all just works is fantastic! Echoing the other comments on here.

    No wonder the doctors thought you were a great candidate to have this treatment, as they saw your attitude and resilience in bucket loads!

Blog Update Monday 7-10-24 Appointment 32 of 2024 North Manchester General Hospital

 Well its been a while since I last bored you all with an Update , some things have been Happening that did not warrant me doing a Blog but I have  an update that is worth mentioning .                                          It is almost 12 months since Mr Baldwin said those words  YOU HAVE A THROAT  VIRUS CANCER  Since then I have shared my Journey with you all and its been a tough one indeed, to that end this will probably be The LAST BLOG that I write unless there are any Major Developments  . You are aware that I took the Decision to Decline the Major Neck Dissection Surgery at this time and requested another PET Scan which was granted and done at MRI , Today I attended North Manchester General Hospital to get the Results of that Scan . End of week 6 , Tues 2-1-23 , Day 30 Treatment 30

 So END OF WEEK 6 , Day 30 ,Treatment 30 !! THE END   Forgive me if I write rubbish tonight I am a bit  of an Emotional wreck. First of all thank you to all those who read and commented on my Last Blog in 2023 , wow another Year gone, its much appreciated  I assure you . So today Bev Heath very kindly drove me to Christies for my last treatment , so no waiting or wondering if my Taxi would arrive or not . Bev arrived at mu house and after a quick chat we were away in awful weather conditions , but Bev is an excellent driver and drove to the conditions  and we arrived in Plenty of Time and found a parking spot on the street very close to Christies so just a short walk around the corner to Christies . So on arrival I am due to have Bloods taken again so round we go to Dept 1 to check in , no problem , then over to check in at Bloods and they tell me they have no papers for me and someone is bringing them down from the Office !! so Bev and I take a seat and ch...
