  4. Another day done, the routine seems to have settled into a relatively speedy pace. Pity you can't smell or taste your food, but do they say how long it will be before you get those senses back? You are very good in that you have a set routine, I am guessing that is the military in you, preparing meals before you leave so they are ready when you get home. I know I have told you this before but you are worth your weight in gold!!! Don't ever change, you are perfect just as you are. And I should know!! After 3 husbands I think I am an expert. Get plenty of rest Thomas, last day of the week tomorrow and a couple of days before the penultimate week!! Well done so far, it is a hard road I know, but if any man can do it you can. ❤️🌞 xx Love you loads. xxx

  5. So pleased everything went smoothly today Tom, much better than having delays and upsets. Shame about the lack of taste and smell but at least you can eat, look on the bright side. Your doing really well, one more day and week 4 is beaten. Angie x

  8. Hi Tom, you’re probably tucked up in bed by now….10.10 pm your time, 5.10 pm here. You never said if you are able to eat without the pain!. Like Sandra asked, have they said when you smell and taste buds will start to return?. One more day left, then come next Monday I think I will start the countdown..🙂. Other than your different routes to Christies, it sounds like you’re into the routine now. I know for you this whole thing feels like it’s been going on forever, but it’s amazing we are down to the last 2 weeks, and only 11 treatments to go before you retire your mask and say goodbye to Ray..👍😊. You have done incredibly well Tom, I never doubted you wouldn’t get through this, but I think you had doubts about yourself, you can put these to bed too as here you are almost as strong as when you started, perhaps had the morphine patch been applied earlier you wouldn’t have had to endure the pain and sleepless nights. See you tomorrow…good night, god bless you..🫶❤️🎄🎄🎄

  10. Doing well Tom. So happy to hear this. Loss of sense of smell and taste a small price to pay at this point - tons are experiencing the same with Covid the nasty 'rona still circulating. BTW, a man who can cook is a keeper !!

  11. Evening Tom. Sorry I've not read or commented on your last few posts. This week has been a bit busy. I'm back doing onsite work down Sarf on an NHS project. But I've just caught up with your latest antics. Don't you get coming down with a tight throat and breathing/swallowing probs too. Only one of us is allowed that and I got first dibs, remember? ;-) Glad you're past the halfway point with the treatment and good to hear you're still eating well even if your sense of taste has done one.... Now if only you knew where to find a set of salt and pepper pots to season your food..... 🤣🤣🤣 Xx
