Week 5 Thursday 21-12-23 Day 24 , Treatment 24

Good afternoon again everyone and yes home in day light again wish it was always this good , anyway  thank you to all those who read and commented on Yesterdays Blog  Hercules   aka Achilles seems to have amused you ha ha  , Good , he is a nice chap really

So today I was wearing a Christmas Jumper by Request ,Transport was on time but we had issues on different routes with trees down  and wheelie bins with Minds of their own ha ha Dodgems , we were lucky some cars not , damage but no injuries thankfully .

So arrived a little late but no ones fault today ,unless Achilles was striking back !! ? straight to the dreaded Pharmacy   to collect the Morphine that I had luckily ordered yesterday , 5 minutes sign for and away .to Dept 39 suite 4 and check in , Just a couple of people in front today before I am called in to meet Ray again ,its Thursday so some Quality street for the Team gratefully received , swiftly undressed and on with the Mask  and listen to some nice Music ,Chaka Khan ,  then its done.

Now then this morning I had noticed that the Swollen Gland that had first been the Target of my concern HAD SHRUNK quite a lot along with some others so I asked if this meant the TREATMENT WAS WORKING and the answer was a Yes , the Radiotherapy is Definitely having effect , I am not getting carried away but that is the first Physical sing , apart from Pain,    that Something is happening in there , yippee .

So folks thats it another early Blog night , thanks again everyone love you all for your friendship and comments that keep me motivated

Love you , night night

 Tom x

  4. Quality St eh?
You do realise that the Threapy Radiography qualification includes extensive training in Chocolate Recognition just like fighter pilots do aircraft recognition. They can spot a Milk Tray Coffee Cream at five hundred yards without the aid of the diagram on the box. Theyvrdgard it as a vital part of their training

  7. Hi Tom Day 7…..That’s fantastic news, although all of your many followers never doubted the treatment wouldn’t work, and you would come through this. What a time to get this news, and to have the people who are giving the treatment to confirm it was working, you must feel so much better. I am so happy for you Tom, finding this at a special time - Christmas, is such a wonderful gift. Catch you tomorrow….the end of week 5..🫶❤️🎄

  10. I'm going to be controversial here... but as far as I'm concerned, Quality Street is the work of a god with a sick sense of humour.... That first day of the Xmas hols, you rip the tin off and it's all full of promise... But 24 hours later all the good has gone yet half the tub is still left... no more green choc block, purple ones, orange cremes, green triangles or fudges...you're just left with the dreaded toffee pennies (aka filling removers) and coconut eclairs.... At a push I'll abide a leftover toffee finger but that's it... the rest are a waste... Give me a tub of Heroes or Celebrations any day .... ;-) X
