 Hello everyone and yes I am still surviving struggling to put weight back on , still suffering from the Lack of Smell and the Dry mouth which doesnt help really  but have been told to be a Patient Patient , yeah right !! Last week I was given the all clear at North Manchester General by the Dietitian people who assure me I am doing well on getting things working again , and the Head Neck and Throat people who asked me questions and did some tests and checks and said they are Happy with my progress and to stop beating myself up about things that are normal after Radiotherapy . O.K I will !! So today it was back to Christies  for planned X Rays , Ultra Sound and Biopsies on the Lymph Nodes that had shown up on the PET Scan last time  So check in at Dept 2 went o.k didnt wait long and was taken to X Ray which was pretty routine really .  Hello everyone , very sorry I am a day late but it has taken me over 24 hours to come to terms with everything and be able to write this Blog , and before I do start I have to say and not be ashamed that I  have  shed a few tears today , Tears of Relief ,Tears of Joy and Tears of reading and replying to every message I have received in the last 36 hours , Humble and Honoured I have to say ,Thank You all so much 💛  On the 7th of September 2023 I noticed quite a big lump on the right hand side of my Neck had developed overnight ! obviously concerned I rang my Doctors for an Appointment , non were available for 3 weeks ! so I decided to take myself down to North Manchester General Hospital A & E  Which isnt far away from home . This turned out to be one of the Best Decisions I have ever made and the Start of an incredible Journey for me . A journey that in a Matter of weeks led to X rays , Ultra Sound Scans , MRI scans ,meeting 2 great Consultants and Nursing...
